ACC Academic Leadership Conference

On October 6, 2026, the Healthy Home Lab welcomed members of the ACC Academic Leaders Network (ALN) for an on-site visit.
During the visit, lab team members presented how the interdisciplinary laboratory is advancing approaches to aging in place. The tour followed the 4Ms Framework of Age-Friendly Health Systems: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility. Guests explored the lab’s smart home technologies, strategies, and aging-in-place tactics that help people live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes as they age.
The visit provided an opportunity to share the lab’s work, exchange ideas, and engage with academic leaders who are helping shape the future of higher education. The Healthy Home Lab thanks the ALN for visiting and for joining conversations that connect innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world impact.
